Social networks are great for connecting with friends, sharing positive information and showing great spirit. Unfortunately, it has many not so great perks and can be used to harass others and spreading false information and that can cause problems to arise offline also.

A tweet can be seen by hundreds of people while talking can only be heard by a few.

Some of the major social networks used by teens today are Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. A major point to keep in mind for all these social networks is that you should not post anything that you wouldn’t want other people to see. What you post on social networks never disappears and could affect you later on in life. Keep in mind that creating a safe profile involves not sharing personal information.
