How to Get Involved at TRHS

Cassie Monteiro

Are you bored?

Are you lonely?

Are you looking for new friends?

If you answered yes to any of these questions I know just the way to help you. There are many clubs and activities offered here at Timberlane High School. Joining a club or maybe even a sport can help you in any of these areas. You can make many new friends with common interests as you. You will be more involved in the school and do the fun things you love. Don’t be afraid to try something new, you never know until you try. Joining a club or a sport is a good way to get involved, to meet new people and to definitely limit you boredom. For more information about our clubs and sports click the links below.

Also don’t be afraid to start your own club. “Once you find a supervisor and hang up posters it’s pretty easy” – Catherine Boudreau (Former President of Gamers Club)

Here at Timberlane you have the right to start any club you want if it is approved by our administration. So if you don’t see something on the list that you think you will enjoy, grab a group of friends and create a club you will all love.

“I wanted to start debate team to help students acquire the effective argument skills needed to succeed in the classroom.” -Megan Marcotte (President of Debate Team)

Three clubs that were recently created by students in the past few years include Debate Team, Gamers Club, and Alive Poet’s Society. There’s even talk of starting a Minecraft Club. So what are you waiting for? Go find or start a club you’ll enjoy!
